Our Story
After more than 30 years of working as a tour guide and traveling the world, our founder made a life-changing decision. Originally from the Rio Grande Valley, he had ventured far beyond its borders, experiencing cultures and industries across the globe. During his years on the West Coast, he established himself as a leading consultant, merchandiser, marketer, and entrepreneur. His work helped businesses innovate, grow, and succeed, and he became known for his creative approach to solving business challenges.
But as his career flourished, he couldn’t shake the desire to return to the place where it all began—his hometown in the Rio Grande Valley. The call to come home was strong, fueled by a deep-rooted connection to the community that had shaped him. After decades of honing his skills, he realized he had something valuable to offer: the knowledge and experience he had gained could make a real difference in his home region.
So, he made the move back. But this time, he wasn’t just returning to his roots—he was coming back with a purpose. He saw firsthand how small and micro businesses in the Rio Grande Valley struggled to compete against large corporations and big-box stores. Many of these local businesses were the backbone of the community, but they often lacked the resources to market themselves effectively. Determined to help them thrive, he decided to give back in a way that could have lasting impact.
Thus, ARTC Consulting was born. The agency was built with one mission: to provide small and micro businesses with cost-efficient and effective marketing solutions that would level the playing field against larger competitors.
